Blue Action

I was Affiliated Senior Researcher at the University of Lapland, Arctic Centre and the Danish Meteorological Service

Cheltenham Science Festival 20072023

Was my 17th consecutive year on the programme ►at the science festival in Cheltenham (missed one during lockdown!). And this will sadly probabably be my last.

I have also presented at the Jazz and Music festivals. I also developed, for Cheltenham, the first citizen science project at a public festival to lead to an academic publication anywhere in Europe. It is great to be back working with The Flying Kandinskys► in particular.

British Council

Science in Schools: Six very successful tours of mainland France, one to Reunion Island, and one visit to French Guiana with Supermarket Scientist► for primary schools, going back to do it again and a third time to do the Brain Game► with secondary schools after a meeting with representatives of the British Council and the French Education Ministry in Paris.

SchoolLab: I have been working with the British Council in France to launch SchoolLab; a schools project modelled on FameLab. More news on this soon!
