2015 Breeding Pairs

A new section to the site, added in January 2015. Below are a selection of the 2015 breeding team, this year i'll run with 18 cocks and 22 hens. As the quality of my stud has improved over the years I'm happy to run more pairs and a selection of trios.

2014 Bred Variegated Buff Cock - A class winner at West of Scotland and South Cheshire and North Stafford Fife Fancy Canary Clubs. This bird is the grandson of the variegated buff hen on the home page of the site.

2014 Bred Ticked Yellow Hen - This bird won its class and the 10% Lightly Variegated Special at West of Scotland and South Cheshire and North Stafford Fife Fancy Canary Clubs. This is a granddaughter of the variegated buff hen.

2013 Bred Clear Buff Hen- this is one of three hens I took in from Gerald in the winter of 2014. A class and Colour special winning bird for Gerald at Cleveland Border and Fife in October 2013.

2014 Bred Clear Yellow Cock - this bird is the half brother of the variegated buff cock above and was in the cards at the specialist shows it attended in 2014.

2013 Bred Variegated Buff Hen - this bird is a daughter of the Variegated buff hen on the home page. She won her class and was second best Variegated at the Midlands Fife show for me.

2014 Bred Variegated Yellow Cock - this bird is the full brother to the variegated buff cock at the top of the page. He was second at both West of Scotland and South Cheshire and North Staffs Fife shows.

2013 Bred Heavily Variegated Yellow Cock - This bird is the father of the show winning buff cock below. He is bred from my North of England Special winning buff cock and this year will be paired to his niece opposite.

2014 Bred Self Green Buff Hen - This bird was best green and 3rd best champion at west of Scotland. Its the granddaughter to my North of England Special winner.

2014 Bred Heavily Variegated Buff Cock - this bird was best Fife, Best Canary and Best Bird in show at the Cheshire Classic, it was also a class winner at the West of Scotland Fife show. It's the grandson of my 2012 North of England special winning buff cock.

2014 Bred Self Green Yellow hen - this bird is the half sister of my best green yellow hen in 2013. Her father is the blue cock shown in this section.

2013 Bred Heavily Variegated Buff Cock - this bird was acquired from Gerald as an unflighted cock in 2013, its the father of the cinnamon carrier buff cock pictured in this section and is the uncle of the buff cock above.

2014 Bred Self Green Yellow Hen - one of 3 yellow hen sister I retained this year. Her father and mother were both successful on the bench, her grandfather was my 2012 North of England special winning buff cock.

2012 Heavily Variegated Blue cock - I acquired this bird from Gerald as an unflighted bird a couple of years back. He's bred some lovely birds for me including the self green yellow hen pictured in this section.

2013 Bred Variegated Buff Hen - This bird is the niece of the variegated buff hen above and came second to her on the bench at both the Midland and North staffs Fife shows in 2013.

2013 Bred Heavily Variegated Cinnamon Yellow Hen - This bird was acquired in winter 2014 from Gerald having won best cinnamon at the 2013 North of England show. I'll run this bird with a carrier cock I bred in 2014.

2013 Bred Self Cinnamon Yellow Hen - This bird was acquired in winter 2014 from Gerald its half sister to the bird on the left. I'll run this bird with a carrier cock I bred in 2014.

2014 Bred Heavily Variegated Cinnamon Carrying Cock - I really like this bird, its father is pictured above and its mother ( a self cinnamon hen) was best in show at North Wales in 2012 and best Cinnamon at the North of England in the same year. I'll run this as one of only a couple of trios with the two cinnamon hens above.
