Note:

A 16mm movie film captured this bird's appearance, and blow-ups of a few key frames were made. These are said to be on file at the Peabody Essex Museum, Salem, Massachusetts. To date, the images have not been examined since reviewed by Alexander Wetmore and Dorothy Snyder (see her account).
