"Why you may ask?" Because in the course of working with the local community to put the petition together, practices, policies and habits of the University Heights Police Department were mentioned by multiple persons. They described your police department as also committing similar as well as other offensive/abusive conduct. After reviewing of this petition you can see the substance of what is being asked of the Iowa City Police Department, as well as feed back, suggestions and some venting of frustrations by signers.
