Slant 6 Rebuild
- Clean block/clean (hot tank) Tin Work - complete engine
- Grind crankshaft
- Prep Block -mic main bearing bores, check gasket surfaces, tap oil galleries, etc.)
- Complete Cyl Head Rebuild (including install guides and surface)
- Bore and Hone all cylinders
- Recondition Rods
- Replace - Valve Guides, Intake Valves, Exhaust Valves, Valve Springs, Ring Set
- Pistons +030
- Ring Set +030
- Resurface Fly Wheel to 13"
- New Water pump

Front Disc Brakes
SSBC Performance Brake System - Front Disk Brake Conversion Kit
Added vacuum assistance booster
Kept 5 X 4" bolt pattern - so all wheels/rims would match
Needed to replace 9" front spindles with 10" spindles (used from Mopar City)
Needed to buy 15" rims - for clearance - found at Summit/Wheel Vintiques
15" Rims
Upgraded to 15" rims (but kept the original 5 bolt pattern of the 14" hubs) - to accommodate front disk breaks (see above) - Summit/Wheel Vintiques
Aussie Speed - Intake & Headers
Replaced existing intake and exhaust manifold (broken) with upgrades from Aussie Speed. Headers were adapted onsite (Bernie's Welding) to maintain existing 3 speed/"3 on the tree" setup
Electronic Ignition
Holley Carburetor/AirCleaner
- Rebuilt 2 Barrel Holley 350 carburetor (manual choke)
- Aussie Speed - AS0214 HOLLEY 2 BARREL CARB ADAPTER TO AUSSIESPEED MANIFOLD
- Holley Custom Oval Air Cleaner
Stereo
Replaced original AM Radio (single front dash speaker) with a 1974 Cassette Deck (from a Duster - donated and installed by Paul Smith) - 4 speakers - including 2 front speakers in kicker panels
- Gippsland Penstar Restoration Fiberglass Speaker Pod Kick Panels (Australian firm)
- KFC-X133 Excelon 2-way 5.25" Flush Mount speaker (kicker panel speakers)
Front Seat Belts
Converted original 2 belt setup (lap and shoulder) to a combo retractable style
Front and Rear Bumper Guards
Original bumpers did not have guards - added to help protect rechromed bumpers and to mimic look of the 72 Valiant used in the movie "Duel"

Radiator - Overflow/Return Tank and Bug Screen
Original radiator had a simple overflow line and no catch tank. Added a 1 qt., round, polyethylene, "natural" color, bottle/tank with 1/4 in. hose barb Inlet. Mount bracket was custom, but used existing holes in radiator area. Also installed a section of bug screen between frame and front of radiator fins/intake. Used radiator mount holes to secure.
