Walked down to the show early, have been leaving Lola overnight and riding back to the house with Lisa each of the first two days. Carlisle events provides 24 hour access and security. I wanted to get in early today to move Lola, because our section of the showfield is where they park the winning cars for pictures. (fellow participants vote on each others cars ... across all classifications).
Celebrity judges (example - Tom Wopart from "Dukes of Hazzard" is one) also pick a winner in each category. Because Lola is Shaelyn's car, I had asked her if she wanted to go around and judge/vote on the other cars. She responded "I don't think so Dad, they are all so beautiful, I don't think I could pick just one winner." I like her perspective.
Sunday is "moving" day - shorter - and many folks leave early to get on the ride home. So there were fewer cars and people at the show. I knew Lola was ok where she was at until late morning, so I wandered around a bit, Watched the venders set up, headed over through the sponsors/manufacturers area - called the Midway - to see what the line was like for the free Hellcat ride. The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is the most powerful and fastest muscle car ever with a National Hot Rod Association-certified ¼-mile elapsed time of 11.2 seconds at 125 mph. If you signed up and took a survey, you got a free quarter mile ride (up and back). The line was very short (on Saturday they gave almost a thousand rides) so I signed up and got in line. Short but sweet. Lisa showed up to watch just before I took off.

After the ride, we dropped by the winners listing table to see if Lola made the cut (no luck). Swung down to the venders row to pick up a couple things then hopped in Lola and cruised out of the fairgrounds for a late breakfast.
Lots of good conversation over breakfast .... headed out for a drive, and then back to the house for a nap.
