16:00 Beams are going through linac.
ToF measurement
ToF measured as a function of tank field 2. Measure bunch profile about 10m downstream of linac. 100k data is stored for each tank field setting.
The relative phase between tank 1 and tank 2 setting the tank 2 field maximum at 3.67. Phase difference can be adjusted within a range of 180 degrees. 20 or 21 settings over that range.
3rd measurement . Relative timing to the 180us linac pulse. Chopped 8 us beam from ion source can be injected anywhere in the linac pulse.
dp/p measurement
Beam profile measured after first dipoles on two screens - one for the straight path (dipole off) and one for the curved path (dipole on). A slit is installed upstream of the dipole. The difference in measured beam sizes allows the dp/p to be calculated (assuming the dispersion is known).
19:15 Image seen on screen on the "JB" line with dipole off. The image is relatively short horizontally because of the slit.
20:00 Verify energy can be reduced to 10MeV by changing relative phase of tanks. This was verified by reducing dipole strength by 5%.
