It gives me pleasure to forward the report from Dr Lalit Nirmal JDA UK President.
I am sending the report on E-mail to members who have given their E-mail address to rcduce the postal expenses. If you have not given your E-mail address then please send it on my E-mail address as long as you are using it on regular basis. We will continue to send correspondence by post to those members who have not sent their E¬mail address:
New committee would like to thank out going committee for their hard work and managing to arrange reunion in difficult time when we have lost some senior members. Personally I would like to Thank them all for the hard work and prompt rcsponse I had when I have contacted them in last few weeks.
New committee has arranged to meet in June to plan for JDA reunion 2010 and to consider any other business. We have received report from Dr JJ Oza, President of MPSMC Alumni Association. Kenyan Doctors have built a gym in the campus. Americans have moved forward.
Dr JJ Oza has also sent condolences to the family members of JDA members unfortunately passed away. Obviously it is a significant blow to our organization. We pray to God to bless their soul.
Please inform me if you have any suggestion as without the help from members we will not be able to function on longer term and we will die slowly. It is up to all of us to maintain the JDA and I request to all those who have continued to attend as well as those members who have not taken active role in recent years to provide the support. It is very much missed by everyone.
I hope you try to inform Jamnagar doctors who are not members to become member. Those who would like to take more active role should inform one of the committee members so we can be in touch with him/her to work out in which way they can take more active role.
Dr Nirmal, Dr Gohil, Dr Shah and committee has updated JDA web site. There are photos from last few years. If you have photos which are different from the photos on web site and would like to put it then please send it to me and I will try to put it on web site.
New committee was elected. We have taken the role in the committee as it was felt that we can not continue unless some one comes forward.
