mount samba netshare

To mount a samba netshare as a disk named 'new' with command lines in terminal.

• mkdir /Volumes/new

  • mount_smbfs //username:password@samba.hostname.or.ip/netshare /Volumes/new

To unmount:

• • diskutil unmount /Volumes/new/

  • or...

  • diskutil unmount force /Volumes/new/
