Japan & Korea Block Fair

Post date: Oct 11, 2011 9:10:13 PM

It's a beautiful warm Sunday at 94th and 93rd Street Broadway although I was 1 hour and 25 minutes late from Times Square Church, the stage hasn't set up yet.

The first thing is to buy food. As usual, I love drinking the Ramuné which can be found in the Manhattan Asian grocery store for $1.25. That is the Japanese BBQ pork I ordered.

NOW the important part. Ron-Chan threw in $9 to support Japan for the Earthquake and Tsunami victims. At the Japan Relief Charity Bazaar booth, they have Japanese traditional goods, purses, vases, children clothes, second hand clothes and others. I threw in $1 for pencils and $5 away in the Jar. And in the other booth where the pin badges, I threw in $3 to get one.

We watched some performances. Thanks to Jefferies Herrera, this shot was taken when Ron-Chan was on stage. Who's that clown? That's Summer the Clown. She does performances for birthday parties. What was she's doing? A trick that's what. An underwear scarf trick that is. Pretty funny and I don't felt nervous at all. I'm just having a good time. Yay!

This is the band Nori-Taku. On the left is Tsubasa and the right is Narina. Every time I met Tsubasa personally, she always smiling. I'll tell you, she has a nice smile too. And always say ARIGATO! And this is the last of those events in the 2011 year. I'm looking forward to attend next summer.
