Benefit Concert For Japan

Post date: Apr 3, 2011 6:48:59 PM

I went to Middle Collegrate Church yesterday which is located at 7th Street and 2nd Avenue where the Benefit Concert for Japan is being held. Of course, I was sent on the mission to donate the money and all proceeds will go to JapanSociety.

The Opera Collective

Opera collective was formed to create performance opportunities and a support structure in which singers and pianists share ideas and constructive critism in a safe environment.

Most of my few hours, I pretty much enjoyed them singing opera.

Then the Japanese poetry. Of course 2 girls read in Japanese. For the poetry, please click on this link here.

Middle Church Jerriese Johnson Gospel Choir

The choir is gloriously diverse in skin tone and style and boasts members from around the world. Started in 1986, it serves as a multicultral testament to Middle Church everywhere.

The Cocolo Japanese Gospel Choir

Cocolo is a community Gospel choir established in the summer of 2000. The group was formed out of the members' sincere desire to expand their knowledge of Gospel music and the faith that is it's inspiration.

Of course for me, both choirs are good singers. And also sang "I need You To Survive". Since I been to Times Square Church for over 6 months, their choirs has large numbers during Sunday service.

I may consider attending to that church sometime but as long I don't leave my friends at Times Square Church. But I had a good time there.

Bronx Underground DANCE PARTY!!!!

Friday April 8th, I will attend there and is located at First Lutheran Church of Throggs Neck.
