To report a work request during normal business hours:
Work requests should be submitted online or by telephone (in difficult situations).
Online 24/7 @ http://gsd.upturnhost.com/ (known as Sprocket)
The username for your location is the lowercase three letter abbreviation for your library location.
Examples: Lakewood = lak, Walter = wal, Melcher = mel
For the Central complex, please indicate the floor you are on - Jones 4th floor = jhj-04, JIB 1st floor = jib-01, Jones Concourse Level = jhj-c.
For Clayton, please indicate which building - Main Library = cla-g, Main House = cla-h, Carriage House = cla-ch, Guest House = cla-gh
The password for all locations is library.

Exceptions:
Salvage requests are handled by HPL. Please complete the Disposal of Surplus Material Form and send to the Business Office. Removal of surplus material will be coordinated with FIDS.
Computers and related issues (including power strips, telephones, cords and cables) are handled by HPL's IT Division. Please email the IT Help Desk or call 832.393.1570 for assistance.
Lawn maintenance requests should be sent to Jason Stephens in Planning & Facilities and will be routed to the Parks and Recreation Department.
To report a work request after-hours and weekends:
Non-emergency issues (not significantly affecting workflow) should be reported online with Sprocket and the work order will be assigned and addressed as usual.
Emergency issues (greatly affecting workflow) should be reported online in addition to the following:
For after hours HVAC emergency issues, call Johnson Controls @ 866.635.1395.
For after-hours security issues, please contact the following. If the first listed person does not answer, proceed through the list until someone is reached.

REMINDERS
Think out the problem and use your best judgment in choosing a request code so proper notification can be done with the system.
Do not duplicate work orders as it causes delays in a work order's completion. If you want to know the status of an existing work request, please contact the GSD Call Center.
Cleaning staff is responsible for maintaining our facilities. They are not a maid service. Individuals are responsible for cleaning their own messes.
