THE HOLY MISSION GAZETTE [Issue 7], not in this, and last year...
The houses in the Holy Mission are very interesting things: you can build them
yourself and you can use them as a place of relaxation and safety. You can
also invite people to visit you there, allowing them to share a nice time with
you. It is, however, very expensive to buy a house, so you'll need a lot of
strength to carry all those goldcoins. But it's certainly worth the effort!
Someone died of the Haunter, so beware of that monster. It seems rather
dangerous. Even I myself remember having some problems with it.
There are certain things called 'revtalkers' here, that turn around any
sentence you tell, shout or say. If you examine them you get some explanation
of the usage. If you're stuck in reverse-talking mode you can get out of it
by typing 'reverse'. If you want to get rid of them, use a trashbin, which
isn't such a bad idea (at least, I don't listen to reversed texts).

THE HOLY MISSION GAZETTE [Issue 6], both in this, and last year...
Recently there have been a lot of wrongnesses in the fabric of space. This, of
course, has to do with the fact that there are characters who call themselves
'wizards' in this game, who try to change things, which is not always good for
the environment. It causes strange kinds of pollution, like the above mentioned
wrongnesses, or singularities, or other strange things. They might even kill
you, so watch out if you encounter one. They can always be reported by using
the bug command ('help bug' if you don't know what it does). This command
should preferably be executed in the place where the problem was encountered.
Another thing that happened today is that the Jedi guild got weaker. This can
only mean that it was too strong, so it's probably one of the stronger guilds
at the moment. I don't know what their leader did, but it seems that strong
monsters can't be stopped from attacking you anymore. Of course, it'll still
work on weak monsters. I hope this information was useful...

THE HOLY MISSION GAZETTE [Issue 5], maybe in this, or last year...
There is a very interesting command in this MUD, called prompt. This command
changes the ordinary '>' that is usually displayed, and changes it into
something different, more useful, for example continually displaying your HP.
More information about this subject can be gotten with 'help prompt'.
Someone shouted that he could die from pleasure. The exact details are, at this
moment, still unknown, but we'll keep you informed (:-). Most likely the person
got involved in a fight with a nasty monster, maybe even the evil Gorgurack,
and almost got killed. Indeed, this could be a very pleasing experience, as
long as you don't actually die.
Well, I know it's short, but apart from people shouting they are buggy there
isn't much happening right now, so I'll leave it at this. Hope you enjoyed this
edition of the Holy Mission Gazette...

THE HOLY MISSION GAZETTE [Issue 4], somewhere in this, or last year...
Currently the hot topic is torches: they seem to be difficult to light, and
difficult to extinguish. Lighting them is rather simple: find a room that has
a light in it, or find another torch that is lighted, or use a match. Using
matches means you have to light the match first, and then the torch. If the
match refuses to light, you probably need a matchbox. Of course, you can always
use a flint and iron, if you can find them. And remember: torches have nasty
reactions to water (that usually extinguish them).
Another discussion of great importance is playerkilling: information on this
subject can be gotten by doing 'help playerkilling'. It seems wizards dislike
continuous playerkilling, so if you start doing that you better watch out. Of
course, being the editor of this gazette I do not really care about
playerkilling, as long as you don't kill me, that is...
By the way, you CAN send in advertisements for this newspaper. At the moment
there isn't a specific place to do this, but you can just mail them to Ethereal
Cashimor (cashimor) and they might be placed. Make sure they have lasting value
though, because they'll probably turn up now and then till eternity...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE HOLY MISSION GAZETTE [Issue 3], somewhere at the beginning of this, or last year...
At the moment someone is trying to sell a striker, which seems to be a very
strong weapon, or at least, somthing that could be used as a very strong
weapon. Some wizards are wondering what happened, though nothing particular
happened, nothing really happens it all is a matter of causality.
Of course, people greet each other when they enter the game, and they take
their leave politely enjoying all the goodbye messages coming over their
screen as a result of the points invested in the shout. Life seems great
sometimes.
The remote soul is used frequently to hug people over long distances (you can
get one somewhere near the frog on the great plain) and do other interesting
things. It seems it has got a new helpfile, but it could as well be an old one
that has got new life.
Well, that's it for tonights news, I hope you all enjoyed reading this!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE HOLY MISSION GAZETTE [Issue 2], somewhere at the end of this, or last year...
Everything is very quiet. There are a lot of players in, who sometimes suffer
from strange poisons, which are actually sold in shops sometimes (probably by
the thieves). Also there seems to be big business in leaves, alge and other
strange kinds of foods, which could easily be mistaken for the poisons, or have
no positive effect whatsoever.
There aren't many quests solved at the moment. Everyone is looking for the
solution, but when the time is there they seem to be unable to solve it. This
doesn't matter that our damsels are always in distress: sometimes they're freed
by a wizard who thinks it's sad that lady Marion is STILL sitting in that
terrible dungeon near the hellhound.
Well, as you can see, life goes on on the Holy Mission, and it seems a pleasant
thing too. During the writing of this part of the newspaper noone died
(really!) so you can say this was a lucky day!

THE HOLY MISSION GAZETTE [Issue 1], somewhere in the middle of this, or last year...
At the moment everything is fine in the Holy Mission. Life is well, sometimes
people die, someone found Padrone's castle, but it got away again, as you can
see, no real trouble. Of course, the family trolls on the main road is still
not exterminated and they continue to harass innocent people passing by, but
having read this you have been warned, so you can watch out.
You can understand that it is always possible to write some things for this
gazette, because sometimes even the most active editor gets bored... Articles
and such can always be send to:
Ethereal Cashimor the designer of the seventh world (cashimor)
Well, since nothing interesting seems to happen at the moment, I think I leave
everything at this... Hope you enjoy your life, and take care of yourself.
