Dr. Midowski

According to the book, "A Community Under Siege: The Jews of Breslau Under Nazism," by Abraham Ascher, (and to the testimony of a former nurse, Judith Sternber), Dr. Midowski was one of many doctors at the Jewish Hospital killed by the Nazis, dying in Theresienstadt, According to Holocaust records, this would have been Felix Midowski, who was born February 16, 1872, and was killed on May 15, 1944. [Sternberg also noted after returning to Breslau right after liberation that the "hospital is no longer recognizable."]
