I Moved To Nieuwegein Just Before I couldn't Get A Housing Permit for the Utrecht Region

Living in Arnhem and Eindhoven make me love Utrecht City even more. To move back I had to move back within 3 years or work in Utrecht Region. I have my own company, Databeet. The second one was no option therefore. I was very lucky when I reacted on a social housing house in Nieuwegein. I was first in the lottery for the house in 2019. I took it just before the COVID-lockdowns happened and moving market slowed down to almost no one moving. It is not my favorite city, it is a car city. But it was and still is my way back to the region I love and lived in for most of my life. I wrote this guest blog for Elsarblog when looking around in Nieuwegein.
