My chosen life design forces the continual development of skills and values beyond what I imagined when I initially learned I could set goals outside of the bounds of my East Bryan neighborhood. I am constantly challenged to deliver creative and innovative ways of serving a population often unable to reap the benefits of economic mobility.
I learn by doing through trial and error. However, I absolutely credit collaboration and support from my sphere of influence as the primary means of reaching the objectives set before me. Similarly, my time in the Master's in Land & Property Development program at Texas A&M helped lay the foundation of my understanding for the necessity to coordinate efforts not just in a real estate development program, but also in basic daily parts of my routine.
Each of the photos below represents a skill or a value of mine that has helped develop the professionalism I operate with today. Entrepreneurship is a top skill of mine; not because I have always dreamed of running a business, but because the way I design my life, survival was at times the only method available to me. So then, entrepreneurship became a way of live. It truly molded my confidence and my approach in real estate and in my work with young adults.
