Proper management of an asset once it is delivered is an important part of the ongoing financial returns of real estate ownership. Management is a sure way to keep tenants and investors happy. In addition to inner city residential land uses, commercial properties also are a target. So then, I am including a rent roll from an assignment completed in my Real Property Analysis course. In this exercise I was challenged to read a lease digest and analyze the data to complete a rent roll while considering property management expenses. This spreadsheet is below.
