Create property development and investment opportunities in the form of “real world” land and property projects.

All of the knowledge gained from my time in the Land & Property Development program is positioning me to reach my long term goal of starting a Real Estate Investment Trust Fund. However, I understand there will be a time period between this where I have to take on roles that will give me the practical experience I need to be best suited for my long term accomplishments. In the meantime, I am prepared to be an asset for a company bringing with me the knowledge and experience gained from more than 10 years of community development. I am eager to fit into a system and work my way up the ladder. 

As part of my Land Development Trends (LDEV 667) I developed a program that shows an opportunity to invest in the communities surrounding Historically Black Colleges & Universities. The report shows how many of these colleges are within two miles of the Central Business District of the city they are situated in. At the time of the report many of these neighborhoods were in dire need of revitalization and presented an opportunity for various tax breaks for smart investors.
