Life Experiences

Ethan Brisby

It was a surreal moment the first time I did press in East Africa. This photo was taken just before I introduced myself and the SHIFT Approach to Uganda.

Proud life moments

I am most proud that I have been able to navigate through life accomplishing all my goal on my own terms without disrespecting others. Frank Sinatra, "My Way" used to be my favorite karaoke song, but I have not done any karaoke in a few years.

In all seriousness, I really do not look like what I have been through. There were times when some of the feats I mention in this portfolio almost got the best of me. My hardships are why I celebrate even the smallest victories and seek to inspire others to do the same.

I remember in 2013 when I first left the Land & Property Development program at Texas A&M, I was able to secure multiple interviews, but never secure a job. I decided to earn my real estate license and pivot into brokerage. As I think back I am proud of myself, because those were some dark days, but I made the tough decision to bet on myself, and it continues to pay off to this day.

Fatherhood

When I became a father at the age of 20, I knew I had to create something to pass down for generations. My son is my ultimate "why." Raising a child while managing my own life is my most proud accomplishment.

1st Generation

I have set many trends in my family that continue to trickle down to the next generation from education to property ownership, travel, and exposure. I am a trendsetter.

Author

My first love is journalism and writing. I always wanted to publish a book. I published my first book, "5 Proven Strategies on How to Pay for College" in 2012. Since then I have worked with multiple authors in helping them write their story as a ghost writer.
