The Paradox Project/Project was an ongoing project that took place at Arcosanti from 1999-2000 and was designed to provide support for organizing the Paradox Conferences at Arcosanti with the idea of moving the vision of Paradox and addressing the Paradoxes that Soleri talked about in his paper The Six Paradoxes of the Computer Revolution.
The idea was to develop tools and resources such as the Virtual Arcosanti Model (VAM). The VAM Project was envisioned as a way to enable people to see how life would be like once Arcosanti was completed as an Arcology - basically it was the idea of creating something similar to Second Life to promote Arcology and help to complete the project. The Paradox Project was also assigned to plan for the next Paradox Conference and consider efforts that might further develop relationships between Cyberspace with the eventual goal of building Acrosanti into a fully functional ecocity.
Doctress Neutopia (Libby Hubbard) was the manager/onsite director of the program for the brief time it existed in 1999-2000 and was supervised from afar by Michael Gosney.
I remember being on the team of Paradox in 2000 so but I don't actually remember what I actually did during my time as a member of the team - though we did discuss some interesting ideas and thoughts as you might have expected.
