Diablo Weavers Guild meets once a month, September through June, usually on the third Friday of the month.
New members and guests are always welcome.
In September, December and June we usually meet at a member's home.

Our speaker for the meeting will be Phyllis Karsten: Fiber to Garment. Her process includes cotton spinning, weaving, sewing wonderful garments. She has a new book on the process, From Fiber to Fashion.

I've been weaving the fiber glass that she uses as mats under some of her sheets of glass that are painted with ground glass. Then it's all fused together. The video is very careful not to give you ALL of the details or process. Delphine is the creator and has the final say, but a lot of other people are involved in the process.
