Diablo Weaver’s Guild Meeting Minutes Nov. 19, 2010

Carol Causey called the meeting to order.

Vilija gave the treasurer’s report. The guild account stands at $1758.51.

CNCH Announcements:

Will Taylor reminded us that registration is now open for CNCH 2011 in Sutter Creek, and encouraged us to sign up!

Upcoming:

The December meeting/year-end party is going to be hosted by Vilija, on Friday, Dec. 17 at 11. Diablo tradition is to bring a small gift to exchange and some food to share for lunch.

And looking into the future, Diablo will host a workshop with Anita Luvera Mayer in October of 2011. Vilija passed around a brochure for the workshop courses which Anita offers. And asked us to let her know which one we’d be interested in for that October workshop.

November’s Program:

Our November meeting was a hands-on mini workshop on turning thrums and other yarn bits into jewelry, inspired by a class taught by Robyn Spady. No doubt, we’ll all be turning up thrumfully embellished in future.
