Diablo Weaver’s Guild Meeting Minutes Jan. 21, 2011
Carol Causey called the meeting to order.
Vilija gave the treasurer’s report. The guild account stands at $2258.51.
Announcements:
“Pulp Fashion: the Art of Isabelle de Borchgrave” is an exhibit at the Legion of Honor running Feb. 5 through June 5. The artist’s creations are inspired by the history of costume and executed entirely in paper.

Upcoming Programs:
In February, the program will be presented by Lynn Harris on SAORI weaving .
In March, we’ll have Linda Hartshorn presenting a program on natural dyes with handwoven textiles.
And in April, Diablo will have it’s own frog fling with the handmade fiber frogs we collectively make in conjunction with the 2011 Sutter Creek conference.
January’s Program:
Our January program was a lovely talk and slide show with Michael Rhode, “The House For Nomads Tapestries: A Tale of Three Continents”.
