June Luncheon
June 14, 2019: Year end picnic, at Vilija's at 11:00 am.
Bring a pot-luck dish to share, drinks will be provided.
Our picnic project will be making mini pin cushions.
Vilija is changing the Picnic Project for this year. Instead of the dye project recently talked about, we will be doing a much simpler Make & Take, which should never-the-less, be fun and useful. There may be a dye day in July or August for the weavers, so keep an eye out for emails this summer.
Mini Pin Cushions for Your Sewing Machine
These useful little things are made with plastic bottle caps, from soda bottles or even pill bottles. All material to make them will be available at the picnic. If you have a scrap or piece of fabric you would like to use, bring it. Other wise there will be plenty to choose from on that day. They can be attached to your sewing machine with removable tape or a magnet.
So bring a main dish, salad or dessert to share for lunch, and plan to spend the afternoon playing with fabric and bottle caps. Drinks will be provided.

Large 4 harness loom for sale
Floor loom needs a new home immediately! The loom has four harnesses,
six treadles (extra treadles in the bench) and folds to save a bit of floor space.
It is about 2x5 ft. folded, about 4x5 unfolded, with a 45 inch weaving width.
Comes with two shuttles, some bobbins, and the bench. Manufacturer unknown.
This loom was one of the floor looms from the Marin Community College
when they shut down their weaving program. Loom works great. It was well loved.
No problems with the loom, except it's lonely and needs a new home.
Motivated seller--make an offer, no offer is too low. Buyer needs to transport.
