Program for the 2018-2019 CVE Photography Club

Welcome to the 2018-2019 season of the CVE Photography Club. By popular request, the Club has changed its name to reflect the changing technological advances in photography. In addition to cameras, our photographers are now taking excellent photos with cell phones, scanners and drones.

Meetings – Time and Place

As in previous years, the Club will be meeting in the Clubhouse, Room GP-F, every Tuesday from November 20^th, to the end of March 2019. Our meetings are held from 1 to 3 pm but the room is available to us from noon to 4 pm every Tuesday afternoon. Members are encouraged to come before or remain after the meeting to chat with fellow photographers.

Dues

The dues for the 2018-2019 season will remain at $15 per member. When paying their dues, I would encourage members to arrive 15 or 20 minutes before the meeting. It would also be appreciated if members brought the correct change.

Wall Gallery

This season, the Club will only be having three wall gallery displays. The dates are as follows: December 12, January 30 and March 13.

Approximately twenty-five framed photographs will be required for each of these exhibits. Please give some thought to a photo or two that you would like to submit for the December exhibit.

A separate memo will be sent to all members concerning the rules for exhibiting and the deadlines.

Art Expo

This season the Art Expo will be held in the Party Room on March 2 and 3, 2019. As in previous years, the Photography Club will be participating. More detailed information will be provided as the season progresses.
