Hi everyone: At our final meeting yesterday, we viewed a You Tube video presented by Rick Sammon. The reference is as follows: PIX 2015 Get Motivated and Stay Inspired.

If you take Mr. Sammon’s advice of self-learning over the Summer, you might consider the following resources that I am familiar with:

• Lynda.com: is available by subscription ($200 USD)per year. A number of Canadian libraries have subscribed to Lynda and so access to the site is free to patrons with library cards. This site is a must-see.
• You Tube: has numerous Lynda.com tutorials and hundreds of others on the many different aspects of photography including post-processing
• Photoshop Café by Colin Smith: excellent tutorials on Photoshop, Lightroom etc.
• Creative Live: Tutorials for sale on many cameras and many aspects of photography.

Hello everyone: This is a reminder that the last meeting of the Camera Club will be held on Tuesday, March 13 at 1 pm in GP-F.

Those who have submitted titles for the March Gallery should bring their framed photos on Tuesday (or 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning). The March exhibit will remain on the wall until December. Photos in the February Gallery can be picked up on Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. or by arrangement with me until April 5. Thereafter, Patty Bender has graciously agreed to open the closet for members to retrieve any photos they have not picked up.

There are no special agenda items for Tuesday’s meeting so please bring digital photos or printed ones, if they are larger ones. Also, if any of you have questions or would like to discuss an item related to photography we likely will have time to do so.

Finally, Richard will likely return all memory sticks with your Photo Art Expo photographs.
