Good morning everyone: Given that 34 exhibitors will bring about 200 photos to the meeting of the Club on Tuesday, it would be appreciated if you

read and followed the following procedures very carefully:


Procedure for handing in your photos for the Photo Art Expo:

  • Unless you have made a special arrangement with the organizing committee to do otherwise, all photos must be brought in on Tuesday, February 26 at the regularly scheduled meeting of the Photography Club. Members should begin to arrive at 12:30 pm with their photos.
  • Upon arrival in GP-F, the title/name cards will be laid out on tables, in alphabetical order. Please affix them your photos using the clips provided. Once done, please hand them to Harvey and Joel for storage. (Please ensure that your name and title are on the back of your photos).
  • Please give the memory stick with your Photo Art Exhibit digital photos to Jacques. If he takes them home, they will be returned at the next meeting of the Club. Please ensure that your name is affixed to it and that you have written the appropriate titles on the files that you loaded on your memory stick.
  • Once all the photos have been stored, we will have a regular meeting of the Club.


Preparation For and Information About the Art Expo Weekend (March 2-3)


  • MEMBERS ARE NOT REQUIRED FOR THE HANGING PROCESS: A small committee of 4 hangers has been appointed for that purpose. Any members who show up to help will be asked to leave the Party Room.
  • The hosting roster for the weekend exhibition has been created. If you wish to volunteers, please see Harvey at Tuesday’s meeting.
  • There is a wine & cheese in the Party Room on Saturday at 6:30 pm. Let me know on Tuesday if you wish to attend with your spouse, partner, or friend. The members who will be hosting will distribute the tickets during the day on Saturday.
  • Pick-up of photos at the closing of the Art Expo: Exhibitors may pick up their photos from 4:15 to 4:45 pm on Sunday afternoon (March 3) in Room GP-F. Photos not picked up will be stored in the closet. (Please do not come to the Party Room as you will not be allowed in).
  • Of course, you are all encouraged to bring friends and family to the event.



Regular Meeting of the Club - Tuesday, February 26:


  • Once all photos are placed in the closet, and unlike previous years, we will have a regular meeting of the Club.
  • Please bring digital photos for showing: 6 or 7 of them and hand them in to Richard Mansfield for loading on the computer.
  • Remember, the digital photos of those entered in the exhibit are to be given to Jacques, not Richard. Please follow this procedure as we do not wish to create any confusion.
