December 2019 Wall Gallery

Instructions for the Wednesday, December 18, 2019 Wall Hanging

1. We can have 1 or 2 photos per person, 27 in total.

2. You must tell us if you are hanging and if it will be 1 or 2 photos.

3. Photo size is to be uniform, i.e., Mat size, 16 x 20, within which is an 11x14 or for 3X2 purists, 12x18.

4. Many of us use Costco’s online printing service for those who are Costco members. The photos can be shipped to you by mail to you (check how long this will take) or you can pick them up at the Lantana store. Ask one of the Club members for help if you need it to use thier online service.

5. For the wall hanging, photos must be framed. Please try to choose a relatively thin frame for uniformity. Inexpensive frames can be purchased at Michaels, Amazon etc.. Michaels frequently has sales.

6. Please provide Leah Sussman with both your name and the title of your photo(s) by the weekend prior to Dec 10 so that a template will be available for you to verify your name and the title at the meeting on Dec.10, 2019. NO PHOTO WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR HANGING AFTER DEC 10. Leah’s email address is: lsussman@mac.com

7. There is an informal hanging committee who meet on Wednesday Dec 18 at 8:00AM. Volunteers will be gratefully accepted.

8. The next wall hangings will be Jan 29, 2020 and March 18. The latter will hang until December of 2020.

**9. Please put your name and title of your photo on the back so that those of us who hang them will be able to match the label with the photo.

**10. Make sure there is a hanging wire on the back of your photo so that they may be hung from a single hook.

So far, no-one has submitted photos for the hanging. If we do not have a full complement of 27 photos by the deadline, we will ask those who have photos already hanging to allow us to continue to display them. We hope it won’t come to that.
