Rules of the Wall Gallery 2018

Century Camera Club – Wall Gallery Rules 2017-2018

The following rules apply to the exhibits of photographs on the Wall Gallery outside of Room GP-F.

· All members in good standing of the Century Camera Club will be allowed to exhibit.

· The exhibits will be rotated monthly during the winter season in order to showcase the work of as many Club members as possible.

· Space and weight requirements limit the maximum number of photographs to about twenty photographs.

· Each member will be limited to one photograph unless an insufficient number of titles have been submitted.

· During the Season, members will be asked if they wish to submit a photograph for the monthly exhibit. If the number of photographs exceeds the space allotment, the photos may be selected by lottery.

· Members who are not successful in the lottery will have priority in the next monthly exhibit.

· The final exhibition of the season will remain on display until a new set of photographs can be exhibited the following December.

· A committee of members will assist in the set up of each monthly exhibit, and its removal.

· The President of the Camera Club will be the official liaison with the Staff Office. Members are to communicate any concerns with respect to the submission, selection, placement or removal of photographs to the President, not the Staff Office.

· Neither COOCVE nor the Camera Club can be held responsible for any loss or damage to any photograph. Members who exhibit do so at their own risk. Members will be required to sign a waiver confirming their agreement with this policy.

• Each photograph shall be displayed with a card identifying the photographer’s name and title of the photograph. The name cards will be prepared by the Wall Gallery Committee.

Responsibility for Hanging the Photographs:

Employees of the Staff Office are responsible for the hanging and removal of all photos in the Wall exhibit. At the beginning of the season, the President of the Camera Club will consult with the Staff Office to confirm all dates for the monthly exhibits.
