Next Meeting and Adjournment

At our next meeting, Tuesday January 23, I propose that we review the following deadlines for the March 3-4 Photo Art Expo.

Over the next 6 weeks members of the Camera Club will be preparing for the ‘big' event of the season. For your information, last year, 30 members exhibited 150 photographs. Given the amount of work involved in coordinating the exhibit, it is important for us to set and respect the following deadlines.

• Tuesday, January 30, 2018: members confirm their intention to exhibit by email to Lise or at regular meeting of the Club
• Tuesday, February 6, 2018: confirmation of number of photos allowed by each exhibitor
• Tuesday, February 13, 2018: submission of titles of photographs to be exhibited by email to Lise or on special form
• Tuesday, February 27, 2018: Photographs are brought to GP-F between 1 and 2 pm in room GP-F.
• Friday, March 2, 2018: Hanging of photographs in the Party Room by a small group of volunteers
• Saturday and Sunday, March 3-4, 2018 Art Expo (volunteers will be required during the Expo)
• March 6, 2018: Club luncheon (Room TBC)
• Tuesday, March 13, 2018: Debrief on 2018 Photo Art Expo and overall assessment of the season.
