Steve is from the CHHS Class of 1971 but after some ended up needing a few more credits and graduated with the 1972 class. Steve currently holds the distinction of the last CHHS classmate to be found. The address the outreach committee had was the same address of the house Steve lived in while growing up in Chapel Hill and it was thought that the address could no longer be valid. On a drive by just to check it out it ends up that Steve moved back to Carrboro and is back in the house he lived in so long ago shortly after his father passed away several years ago.

Jeanetta's first claim to fame was helping organize a sit in at Guy B. Phillips in 9th grade to protest Coach Renwick's abusive treatment of a student. It caused quite a stir and got several students, including Jeanetta, suspended and the rest of us got out of school early. Later, school officials were forced to rescind the suspensions. Jeanetta left CHHS after 10th grade and finished up at NC School of the Arts HS now known as the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston Salem, NC. Some other class of 1972 alumni that matriculated there include Emily Carnes, Martha Cansler and Wicca Davidson (Leslie Paull). She has gone on to a successful career as a Hollywood actor.

GOOSE GOES HOLLYWOOD
When brought in for questioning about what she knew of The Goose Syndicate's involvement in the Hollywood Payola Schemes in the late 90's, Jeanetta pleaded the 5th and did time for contempt of court, eventually being released without giving up any information. The grand jury investigation later died without any charges being brought against Goose, Scorcese, Travolta or any of the other Hollywood A list often linked to Goose and photographed at his infamous after hours debaucheries.

Interesting Story: Steve, along with Gail Darden and several other classmates and friends from back in the day were i attendance for Decatur's music project during his senior year at UNC. He opened by performing a beautiful self composed piece on the acoustical guitar. Then his band mates proceeded one at a time on stage and ended up putting on a rock n' roll concert, much to the chagrin of the music department heads.

Pam became a sports rehabilitation therapist. Pam is single again with a daughter in college and a son graduating high school. In the lst few years Pam underwent treatment for Lymphoma and is still on the mend. Pam has been incredible with pitching in for the festivities, sending in a lot of nostalgic memorabilia from our days in CHHS. She also helped man the phones during the registration drives in March and April.

Chip moved to Cary after 10th grade and graduated from Cary High School. He then graduated from NCSU with a 4.0 only to find out you need a little emore than that to get into med school anywhere let alone UNC. He went on to form his own successful landscaping company and also worked for a time with engineering. The last decade Ross has had to deal with a disease that attacks the sheathing around his nerve endings limiting the use of his hands and lower legs. This Where Are They Now reporter is glad to say that Chip has not slowed down. While we talked near his family's farm acreage in Cary Chip was working on his truck. He also is active in the community with zoning as it relates to conservation and environmental planning for the future.
