Two Characters Essay

For our expository writing piece students will select two characters from the list below and write a comparison and contrast essay

Paragraph 1: Introduction includes summary information about both characters and the thesis statement.

Paragraph 2: Three differences of the characters with one example pulled directly from the characters' stories.

Paragraph 3: Three similarities of the characters with one example pulled directly from the characters' stories.

Paragraph 4: Conclusion must restate either most important or favorite difference and similarity with why the student feels a connection to those characters.

Students may pick two characters from the following list:

Batman, Ironman, Miss Piggy, Spiderman, Kermit, Robin, Harry Potter, Darth Vader, James Bond, Scooby Doo, Wonder Woman, Rambo, The Grinch, Percy Jackson, Superman, Phineas, Ferb, The Smurfs, The Seven Dwarves, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Snow White, Winnie the Pooh, Igor, Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Frankenstein, The Little Mermaid, Beauty, Sleeping Beauty, Little Red Riding Hood, Voldermorte, Garfield, Icabod Crane, Road Runner, Yoda, Luke Skywalker, Tigger, Whiley Coyote (please avoid using two characters from the same story)
