This week before the winter break students are continuing to practice Expository writing with cause and effect while working on compound and complex sentences. Students will also begin practice with Milestones preparation along with continued Reading Plus Lessons. Students have a vocabulary test on Thursday over the lesson 4 words and the Reading Log 1 is due on Wednesday.
Students are welcome to do their Reading Plus lessons at home for extra practice or if they miss a class lesson.

Upcoming Dates:
February 13- Reading Log is due. All students must have read 150 pages for the last month.
February 14 - Vocabulary Lesson 4 test. See the vocabulary section for words and definitions. Students need to be comfortable with 12 of the 15 words.
February 28- Student Choice Board Project is Due. See that section for choice board page.
