Visualization is a technique used to tap into the subconscious and re-script it in order to effect conceptual and behavioral changes.
The trainer guides participants through a visualization session by providing them with verbal instructions as they follow his voice:
Sit down in a relaxed position
Close your eyes
Release any tension from your body
Breath deeply and slowly
Visualize yourself at ... during ... doing ...
When you are ready open your eyes slowly and gently
Building self confidence in participants
Setting future goals
Overcoming personal obstacles
Overcoming skill deficiencies
Overcoming fears
Tap into the subconscious and re-script it
Produce long term non-volatile behavior changes
Calm down participants and help them relax
Produce deep holistic learning in a short period of time
