When you teach something to another person your mastery of this thing you have been teaching improves.
If a participant does not understand something or missed something, due to coming late for instance, ask his colleagues to explain it to him
Ask one of the participants to explain to his colleagues something you have already explained or that such participant knows and you have not explained
Provide participants with an assignment to teach something they have learnt to others
Boosts self confidence
Greatly improves the mastery of the skill, knowledge or attitude under consideration
Completes the learning cycle be passing on what you've learned to others
