Breaks are periods of rest that are provided to trainees, as well as the trainer, in order to refresh their abilities and make them receptive to more training.
A rule of thumb is to give a 10 minute break for every hour of training
You may give a break of 30 minutes after 3 hours of training
Very breaf 30 seconds breaks can be used to shift from one heavy topic to another or before visiting a deep topic
Highly interactive workshops can include breaks after extended training time
Refresh the mind and revitalized the body
Provide the trainer with a chance to revitalize in order to be able to continue delivering training
Provide trainees with a chance to internalize and digest the knowledge and skills they have been learning
