Creative Writing Workshop
Location: Bikya BookCafe (Nasr City).
Day 1
Select one of those three cue words/phrases. Write a story including that word or phrase.
Day 2
Types of brainstorming
listing
clustering
free writing
Select one of the presented pictures, use your imagination to write a picture about it.
The Good
Encouraging participants after doing each exercise.
Rich and interactive introductions including asking the reason for attending the workshop.
Pair work exercise.
Several exercises.
Providing tips.
Only a small time of the workshop included direct explanation.
Improvements
Using a PowerPoint presentation instead of a Microsoft Word document.
Increasing font size in handouts and increasing amount of white space in page.
