Tree #8: Honeycrisp Apple

Tree #8 was planted in 2016. The Honeycrisp is known as one of the most popular dessert apples. The apple was developed by University of Minnesota in the 1960’s to be a fruit which reliably produces in cold climates. The apple has a smooth skin with a cream to light yellow sweet flesh. The Honeycrisp is a consistently large apple and usually ripens mid-September.
