Philadelphia Field at the Navy Yard opened formally for Week 4 of the 2023 WFBL season. This gorgeous open-air facility is located along the banks of the Delaware River at the former Naval shipyards in South Philly.

The Navy Yard location is also home to Veasey Village, which includes a massive club store for fans to shop all the latest Athletics gear, memorabilia, and paraphernalia. The complex includes multiple sports bars and waterfront access with private small boat docking that can be reserved in advance by fans.

Founded July 4th 1998 as the "Wildwood Waves" playing in Bayside Park
Moved to Philadelphia as the Athletics with completion of Liberty Bell Park for 1999. Moved into Philadelphia Field at the Navy Yard for Week #4 of the 2023 campaign.

Mark DeRosa was hired as the Athletics manager in the wake of the 2022 postseason rebuild. "DeRo" enjoyed a 16-year career as a player in MLB, winning a World Series ring with San Francisco in 2010. Retiring after the 2013 season, he then spent eight years as an analyst with MLB Network. He also managed Team USA in the 2023 and 2026 World Baseball Classic.
