The new Navy Yard location is also home to Veasey Village, which includes a massive club store for fans to shop all the latest Athletics gear, memorabilia, and paraphernalia as well as a huge sports bar. A hotel is planned to open in time for the 2024 campaign as well.

Founded July 4th 1998 as the "Wildwood Waves" playing in Bayside Park
Moved to Philadelphia as the Athletics with completion of Liberty Bell Park for 1999. Moved into Philadelphia Field at the Navy Yard for Week #4 of the 2023 campaign.

Mark DeRosa was hired as the A's manager in the wake of the 2022 postseason rebuild. "DeRo" enjoyed a 16-year career as a player in MLB, winning a World Series ring with San Francisco in 2010. Retiring after the 2013 season, he then spent eight years as an analyst with MLB Network. He will also manage Team USA in the 2023 World Baseball Classic.
