A's organization shows well in Baseball America Top 500 Dynasty rankings

Baseball America updated their Top 500 Fantasy Baseball Dynasty Rankings for the month of April 2025. The Philadelphia Athletics were well represented. The organization placed 43 players on that list, including 11 among the top 100, nine among the top 52 players.

To put those numbers into some perspective, when dividing the league's 18 clubs by 500 potential ranking places, an average organization would have 27-28 players on the list. An average club would have 5-6 among the top 100 and a little over three among the top 52.

The A's highly regarded young outfield trio of Jackson Chourio, James Wood, and Wyatt Langford all come in among the top 35 players. Three starting pitchers - 2024 WFBL Rookie of the Year Paul Skenes, WFBL preseason top prospect Roki Sasaki, and 2019 second round draft pick George Kirby are all among the 27 on the list.

There are currently 66 players on the Athletics overall roster, counting those in the Minors and on the Injured List. These rankings reveal that 43 of those 66 (65.2%) made the Baseball America list. 

"We've worked hard over the last couple of years to rebuild our player personnel," said GM Matt Veasey. "The respect shown to our organization by the respected Baseball America analysts reflects the hard work of our scouting team led by Matt Blood and Mike Arbuckle."
