NUS MBA Fair
'Twas great being with Richard (again) as well as with Nan Sze and Ernest for another Programme Briefing for the NUS MBA!
Most of those who came were participants at the QS Top MBA Tour at the Manila Mandarin last Thursday (Nov. 27) evening:
It was also enjoyable being with Faith, Hope, Manix (& wife) and Jovy for the EMBA Briefing done by Nan Sze: please put in those applications!
Myself, Ernest and Richard at Shangri-la's (Christmas-ready) lobby! (Hey, Nan Sze: Where are you?!? Oh, in your room, hah?)
I’d like to thank everyone who came to our NUS MBA Programme Briefing Saturday, 25 October 2008, at the Makati Shangri-la Hotel!
We had a grand time showcasing the NUS MBA Programme along with the many other course offerings by the NUS Business School. I was happy to have met Mr Edwin Lim of the NUS MBA Programme Office as well as Richard Que (our Pinoy mainstay at the NUS MBA Programme Office and, since July this year, a student of the NUS MBA). I was also glad to see Chester Sing (from Ateneo; NUS MBA Class of 2006) who helped me tackle questions addressed to NUS MBA Alumni.
Here’s a shot of us taken in the Pasay Function Room of the Hotel where we held our Programme Briefing:

SUCCESSFUL NUS MBA FAIR at MANILA MANDARIN, last 20 OCTOBER 2007!
I just wanted to tell you that I enjoyed and was very pleased taking part in the Oct. 20 MBA Fair at Mandarin Oriental Manila! (This was despite the unfortunate bombing incident at nearby Makati Glorietta the previous afternoon, which we hope did not adversely affect our NUS guests.)
There was an average of 70-80 attendees at the MBA-related activities/talks, mostly made up of U.P., Ateneo & LaSalle grads. Although the attendees for EMBA and UCLA-NUS were quite few, two nice Filipino alumni --Rosario and Coco-- came for the UCLA-NUS orientation! We shall follow up on their applications within the next few months.
I'm sorry, though, that I didn't see my UPMBA students attending Prof. Andrew's talk, but part of the crowd of the morning as well as new attendees of the afternoon session were around & ENJOYED TREMENDOUSLY his Lecture (I was one of them!).
Meanwhile, on November 2nd, my classmate, Tetsuya Fujimoto, was on hand for the NUS MBA Fair in Tokyo, Japan! He received Richard and the rest of our NUS colleagues for that Fair.
See you in the next NUS MBA Programme Briefing on
November 29, 2008, 13.00-17.00, Makati Shangri-la!!!
