* Common Sense Media - This non-partisan, not-for-profit organization/website has great articles, advice, and reviews on everything media: movies, books, apps, TV shows, video games, websites, and music. Also included are articles and videos related to safe and responsible use of media (from cyberbullying to plaigarism), and discussion starters to use with your kids.
Reviews Page - Browse their library of more than 20,000 reviews by age, entertainment type (website, apps, movies, etc), learning rating, genre, device type (iPad, Android, etc.) and more using the filters in the left column. Included in each review is a "what parents need to know" section that gives ratings and information about the following categories: ease of play, violence and scariness, sexy stuff, language, consumerism, drinking/drugs/smoking, privacy & safety.
