I am a student studying in MYP 5 at Sreenidhi International School. As I shifted IB to less than a year back. However, I adjusted and fit into the curriculum just right, which shows that adapting to the circumstances is one of my major strengths. Apart from this, in just the first year of coming to the school I became a class representative. This goes to show that I am good with people, and have an extrovert personality.

I was always fascinated with the thought of "playing against an opponent to constantly improve yourself", and the thrill of not knowing what to expect. While exploring this fascination, I came across chess which helped me to experience this phenomena and gradually became my passion. Furthermore, chess also helped me to enhance my logical and critical thinking skills which helped me in my academic subjects like Math and Sciences. The competitive spirit helped my knowledge and understanding take a huge leap.

Learning Goal: My learning goals included learning how to use recording and editing softwares for making the videos on my website, learning about 3 grandmasters I chose to write my articles on, and improving logical thinking by explaining and analyzing the 3 chess tactics and 2 openings.

Product Goal: My product goals included: Making 5 to 7 minute videos on 2 chess openings, and 3 chess tactics, and writing 500 word articles on 3 famous chess players.

I am proud to say that when I look back at myself when I first started this project, and when I look at myself now I see huge differences, and improvements in many sectors. Firstly, all the way from the planning section to finishing my product in December I learnt a lot of different things in every phase. For example, working towards the learning goal helped me identify my strengths and weaknesses. I think it is safe to say that this project made me a more capable person.
