Welcome to my page everyone, I’m Pavan Punnamraju, a student from MYP 5 of Sreenidhi International School. The topic for my personal project is space travel. Stephen Hawking once said "The universe is not indifferent to our existence -- it depends on it." This quote had greatly inspired me to explore our effect on the universe. This was when I started to explore the concept of space travel and our possibilities of becoming a spacefaring civilization.

My learning goal for this personal project is to gain knowledge regarding the economic, social, and environmental limitations of rockets along with the future possibilities through conducting extensive research. I have also learned to edit videos efficiently and communicate information effectively to my targeted audience throughout the course of this personal project. My product goal is to create an informative video regarding the areas of space travel that intrigued me and would inspire others to explore further. I aim to create an optimistic society that embraces the current disadvantages of space travel and works towards pursuing interstellar space travel in the future.

I’ve definitely become an evolved IB learner through the experiences of this project. I’ve learned to manage my time productively towards the latter parts of the process and have improved on my management skills. I believe that I have drastically refined my critical thinking skills and was capable of using transfer skills to synthesize prior knowledge with information from external sources.
