We would like to ensure that you will achieve great things during the programme, and afterwards. In order to do that, there are some expectations and requirements embodied in our programme.
This handbook is designed as a reference document for postgraduate learners. It gives general information about the programme and procedures and points you to other places or further information and advice. We do not expect you to read it in one sitting, but you will need to refer to it throughout your programme. If you have a question, the answer will be in here or on one of the links indicated. Use the handbook as an initial source of information and guidance.
On the programme, we want you to have an experience that you will never forget. We hope you will find the programme energising and focused. You will be taught in a open and safe learning environment.

As a level 7 learner at Sheffield University Management School, I will undertake my duties and responsibilities, following an ethical code at all times:
I will ensure that all the work done is my own. I will not attempt to ‘steal’ from others, or take credit for others’ work.
I will fully participate in group work. I will not ‘lean on’ others or take them for granted and at all times will try to make positive contributions.
I will seek to enjoy my studies, look positively at the challenges, and will do the best to meet the expectations of the University and its postgraduate programme.
I wish to develop, and I am going to use my postgraduate programme to help me achieve and fulfil my ambitions.
