As a learner with Sheffield University Management School, you will have access to our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) called Blackboard. This will contain all of your course material that you will need for your studies.
You access this by logging into MUSE (sheffield.ac.uk) > My Services > Blackboard.
Once you have logged in you will see your programme site and a number of module sites. More of the module sites will be released as you progress with your studies. The programme site will contain information relating to your programme, such as timetables, programme handbooks, links to all of your module sites and student/staff feedback.
Your module sites will contain all of your learning materials for each module. This will include a module overview, module learning material, readings, pre-readings and assessment information. You will submit your assessment through these module sites using, where appropriate for the assessment, Turnitin. All submission and marking will be done anonymously. You will also gain your marks and feedback through the module site. Marks and feedback will be released 3 weeks from the submission of your assignment.
Each module site will contain a number of core and suggested readings. The Resources tab on Blackboard will signpost you to a series of articles and books on our library catalogue.
Student feedback surveys are an essential part of assuring the quality of teaching and provides essential feedback on your experiences of your programme of study. We continuously evaluate the quality of the teaching programme and modules. This feedback will be open through Blackboard, and will be available from the last day of study on that particular module.
