As part of your apprenticeship, you are required to develop and maintain a portfolio of evidence and reflection throughout your studies. This has been developed in PebblePad. PebblePad is a learning journey platform, designed to help learners reflect on their progress.
You will access this from the Blackboard programme site, or by logging into MUSE (sheffield.ac.uk) > My Services > All Services > P > PebblePad.
In this workbook you will find a number of areas that you will need to keep updated as you progress through your studies.

You will also need to track your off the job activity:
Off-the-job training is training received by the apprentice, during the apprentice’s paid hours, for the purpose of achieving their apprenticeship. It is not training delivered for the sole purpose of enabling the apprentice to perform the work for which they have been employed.
Off-the-job training is a statutory requirement for an English apprenticeship.
Off-the-job training must be directly relevant to the apprenticeship framework or standard, teaching new knowledge, skills and behaviours required to reach competence in the particular occupation. It can include training that is delivered at the apprentice’s normal place of work and can include the following:
The teaching of theory (for example, lectures, role playing, simulation exercises, online learning, and manufacturer training);
Practical training, shadowing, mentoring, industry visits, and attendance at competitions;
or
Learning support and time spent writing assessments/assignments.
The Senior Leader Apprenticeship Standard, to which this programme is mapped to, requires you to evidence how you have met a series of Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours throughout the course of your study. Each module you study will meet some of these knowledge, skills and behaviours and these will need to be evidenced in Pebblepad as you progress. This evidence will help you form the basis for your End Point Assessment.
You will have regular Academic and Practice Review meetings with your tutor and your line manager. These are designed to help your career progression, and both your tutor and line manager will be able to see your PebblePad portfolio, and add comments / contribute towards SMART targets for these meetings. From these meetings, you should update your Individual Learning Record with actions and this will allow you to document when you have achieved these actions.
