Module Overview

Focuses on understanding self, and your own professional practice with recognition of gaps in your knowledge, skills and behaviours aligned with the apprenticeship.

During this module, and in preparation for the Developing Personal and Professional Practice 2 module studied in year two of the programme, you will explore and critically evaluate a range of concepts associated with reflective and reflexive practice; philosophical positioning of management theory and practice; coaching and mentoring and its application in a leadership context; and professional development.

You will have an opportunity to reflect on previous experiences of practice, their current performance and professional development processes relevant to their context, aligned with professional standards.
