This module guide has been written to provide an overview of how the apprenticeship element will work alongside your SLA and how we will support you to achieve success at the end of the apprenticeship when you are formally assessed at your end-point-assessment (EPA).

This EPA is managed by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) our approved independent end point assessor for the senior leader apprenticeship are. The module guide covers two modules:

• Start with the End in Mind 1 (SWTEIM 1) which covers the first 12 months of the SLMDA programme and;

• Start with the End in Mind 2(SWTEIM 2) which covers the final 18 months of the SLMDA programme.

Both of these modules are interlinked and are progressive. They relate to the apprenticeship element of the programme and as such are zero credit modules and only leaners who are on the SLMDA programme are required to complete them.

Module aims The aims of these modules are to:

• Prepare the learner for the SLMDA end point assessment;

• Support the development of a portfolio of evidence and;

• Support the development of a project showcase management report and presentation.
