MGT61105 Enterprise, Innovation and Business Inquiry
Module Overview
The Enterprise, Innovation and Business Inquiry (EIBI) module is the final module on the Senior Leadership Apprenticeship (SLA) programme. This module will provide you with a foundation in the professional knowledge, skills and behaviours required for the Senior Leader Apprenticeship. Specifically, learners in this module will explore and critically evaluate a range of concepts and theories associated with:
Enterprise development such as new market strategies and analysis, competitive strategies, brand and reputation management;
Innovation and entrepreneurship including the impact of disruptive technologies and drivers of change;
Management inquiry methods used to research, analyse and integrate complex information to inform creative business solutions.
You will also develop their business inquiry methods and skills through the production of a Strategic Business Proposal. This activity will provide learners with a chance to investigate an enterprise or innovation opportunity that is relevant to their workplace. Moreover, the writing of the proposal will allow learners to practice influencing others, identifying opportunities to drive change, act as a Champion and find creative business solutions. As a result, the proposal will help prepare students for the Senior Leader Apprenticeship end point assessment.
